Our 3D printing class is 1.5 hours long. During this time, we will show students the basics of using Tinkercad, a free 3D modeling program that is available to anyone, and get them on their way to creating their own 3D models to print out!

Our classes will be offered on select Saturdays in the Children's Department. You can also make appointments with our Technology Coordinator, Eric Kershner, to get a more hands on tutorial on how to model and design.

To make an appointment or for more information, please call us at the library at 563-242-8441. Please note that if you are looking to make an appointment, we ask that you have a minimum of three people in your group.

Take our 3D printing class and learn how to:

  • CREATE AN ACCOUNT

  • MOVE AROUND IN 3D SPACE

  • RESIZE AND RENAME AN OBJECT

  • JOIN OBJECTS TOGETHER
