TEENS
Teen Loft
We carved out a space just for you. Teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to come hang out in the Teen Loft. We have lounge chairs, 6 computers, a TV that you can hook up your game console to or play with the library’s when it’s out. The computers have access to the internet and Microsoft Office, if you need to print it is $0.15 a page. There is Wi-Fi. We have books, manga, graphic novels, magazines, audiobooks, and DVDs.
On Wednesdays, we have free loft time where video games, Perler Beads, and other activities are available.

Volunteering
Looking for an ongoing volunteer opportunity at the library? Teen Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and have a work permit if14 or 15 and able to commit to 1 or 2 hours per week to help with shelving and/or programs. An application for the program can be found HERE. Bring the completed form and a letter of recommendation to the front desk. We’ll be looking for new volunteers at the start of Fall, Spring, and again in Summer.

Teen Advisory Board
Do you know what teens in Clinton want? Join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) and be one of the masterminds behind the Teen Loft! The TAB meets monthly at the library to help make decisions about the Teen Loft space and plan awesome events for Clinton area teens. Email Kendra at or drop by either the main desk or children's desk.
TeenZine
The Clinton Public Library is putting together a teen magazine. If you would like to submit any art, short stories, poems, or reviews please email Kendra at teens@lclintonpubliclibrary.us.

New programs are offered every month just for teens. Check out our Calendar of Events or pick up a printed copy at any desk in the library. Our programs are always free and we’d love to have you there.
